Alison E. Stewart
Alison knew in high school she wanted to be a lawyer. Since law school, she has had the opportunity to work in the trial division of a large insurance company, as well as several years in private practice. As a result of this diverse legal background, she understands the client perspective from many angles, and has developed a unique but highly effective approach to her law practice.
She focuses on a collaborative approach to ensure a positive process resulting in the best outcomes, and places an emphasis on accessibility and responsiveness. Alison is diligent about knowing the nuances of the case. Known for leaving no stone left unturned, clients trust Alison and opponents respect her and take her seriously.
Alison’s practice is focused on workers’ compensation, personal injury defense, and family law. She has worked on all aspects of cases ranging from simple to complex, including trials, mediations, settlement negotiations, and appeals. She has worked with a range of business types and industries, from small businesses to large national corporations, and is experienced at navigating different levels of corporate structure.

On a Personal Note
In her time away from work, Alison’s greatest joy is time spent with her husband and two children. She is fortunate to have many family and friends in the area, loves to travel, is an avid reader, and enjoys teaching Sunday School at church. She volunteers her time with the Polk County Bar Association’s Volunteer Lawyers Project, and serves as a judge for high school mock trial.
